The team designs a one-year program to transform your idea into a new start-up. A dedicated TTT-AI business developer will actively nurture and support your idea and guide you along the way. This approach results in an investor-ready start-up, including an initial small team as the growing kernel of the envisioned venture. The level of engagement in this new venture is up to you as a researcher.

Individualized, tailor-made approach
In close collaboration with you, the TTT-AI business development team determines what the idea needs to become a start-up and the challenges that will be encountered. Then, a tailor-made plan is developed to meet those needs and overcome the challenges. Finally, a start-up team is formed.

AI expertise + domain-expertise
Your idea for a new venture is supported by AI and technical experts with advice, prototyping and development of functionality. Participating partners and affiliated partners can provide access to data sets and a testing environment.

Mentorship
Entrepreneurial experts offer advice on legal, financial, marketing and HR matters. These mentors have expert knowledge on markets and end-users and will advise on the strategic market positioning of the idea’s application.

Financial investments
In the early stage of developing your idea, a validation fund is available. The funding needed for growth are provided by the TTT-AI Investment Fund during the Growth Program. During the Expand Program, TTT-AI’s team can help apply for follow-up investments.
How to apply for this program
First, do the Quick Scan below to find out if your idea is eligible for this program. If it is, you then apply by filling out the intake form together with a business developer of your university’s KTO or with one of the TTT-AI Business Developers.
TTT-AI’s project team reviews applications and select new ideas/participants monthly.
Criteria for the Venture Building program are:
- You are working at one of the partner universities / medical centers or at one of our affiliated partners.
- Your idea is for an application based on AI algorithms or software.
- Your idea has potential commercial and societal impact.
- Your faculty is willing to endorse and support you to develop your idea.
