As a mentor, you’re expected to be available for regular (weekly or monthly) check-ins with the startup team you’re matched with. But making yourself available in between, for answering questions, sharing insights, or some advice is highly appreciated.
Become involved as…Mentor
TTT-AI needs mentors like you. Offer your support and help AI startups reach their goal of becoming an investor ready start-up!
AI startups vary in their needs to become successful depending on their team and challenges. The TTT-AI startups need mentors familiar with AI (technologies) and experience in entrepreneurship, marketing, leadership, teambuilding, scaling, product management, or strategy development. Is your skill not included in this list but do you think it is an asset for a start-up or spin-off, please feel free to reach out to us.
You can express your interest in mentoring a startup by providing your contact details and share some information on your experience, interests, and skills. After this, one of our business developers will contact you for a further introduction, and to establish if there is a match and potential for collaboration.
Once a startup team in your area of expertise and interest has overcome the first hurdle of the initial idea validation, the involved TTT-AI business developer will initiate a meeting. This of course, after sharing additional information with both you and the startup. If both parties think it is a match, you’ll be asked to regularly mentor the team and make agreements regarding compensation based on the specific startup and situation.
AI start-ups have specific needs to become successful. In the initial phase they require an multidisciplinary teamfor their complex challenges. That is even more important than for 'regular' technological based start-ups. Why? Because AI is an enabler of technologies. It generally starts as a technological innovation based on AI algorithms and software without a specific application or use case. AI needs to be integrated with other technologies to create applications, like for example in health care and robotics.
TTT-AI is a collaborative alliance
