AI Startup-Investor Matchmaking Event

On 7 October 2026, the Dutch AI ecosystem organizes an AI Startup-Investor Matchmaking Event at Hembrugterrein in Amsterdam. The event brings AI startups and investors together for a focused afternoon of one-on-one conversations, not pitches from a stage. Startups get direct access to around 15 to 20 investors, including partners from across Europe. Investors get a curated look at AI companies that are building genuinely new technology, not just applying off-the-shelf AI.

Who it's for

The event is for AI startups and spin-offs developing breakthrough AI technology and looking for pre-seed, Series A, or corporate investment. It's also for investors and corporate investment teams looking to connect with the next generation of AI innovators. Startups that only apply existing AI solutions without further innovation are not the right fit for this event.

Programme

The core of the day is one-on-one matchmaking: five rounds of 20 minutes each, giving startups and investors direct, structured time together. Alongside the matchmaking rounds, there are short presentations on AI business cases and on support programmes for AI startups, including Breaking Barriers (AIC4NL), TTT-AI, and LLM-BRIDGE.

The event is organized in collaboration with the AI Hubs network, bringing together partners from across the Dutch and European AI ecosystem.
